I'm now a #100PureApprovedBlogger! This means I'll be testing out a lot of 100% Pure's new releases to share with you all. For my first post, I'm reviewing two of their new masks (the scary looking caffeine mask will come later). They're polar opposites, so read on to see which one sparks your fancy!

"Hydrating is adding water into your skin cells whereas moisturizing is adding oil - healthy skin needs a good combination of both."

100% Pure really impresses me with how unique their products are getting, which allows natural beauty folks to stay trendy. First, the Air Cushion Foundation and now this, a Korean inspired sleeping mask. You have two options with this: 1) put it on, let it absorb, and wash it off or 2) massage in what doesn't get absorbed and leave it on overnight. I've used this twice so far, but have only done it the overnight way.

The mask comes out of the tube as a thick cream that resembles toothpaste. Apply a generous layer all over your face and after 15 minutes, the mask becomes a liquidy oil texture which you can rub in. I don't use any other skincare products after that, so it stands in as my night cream. In the morning, I noticed a difference with how smooth my skin felt, especially around areas with healing blemishes. If your skin has been dehydrated, this will liven it up!

The only thing I dislike about this is the cucumber-floral scent but overall, it's an interesting product that will give you a quick and easy hydration boost.

I love a good detoxing mask to help keep my skin healthy and my pores clean. The best part about this one is if you put it on correctly, you get a tingling sensation! What I mean by "correctly" is don't put on a thick layer because your face will burn - it's that potent. All you need is a thin layer, so this 3.4 oz tube is a great value. I have normal skin, so I've been using it once a week. For oily skin, use it 3 times a week and for dry skin, use once or every other week.

At first, I thought the mask was a liquid, but the product must have become separated because the next time I used it, it had more of a typical clay mask consistency. The mask dries pretty quickly, in around 10 minutes, and even though it's a detox mask, it doesn't dry out your skin. I'm usually not much of an "herbal" person, but I actually prefer the scent of this mask to the aqua boost - it's herbal but not overpowering. Out of all the masks I currently own, this makes the most relaxing masking experience because of the scent and the tingles.

It's hard to recommend one mask over another because they serve such different purposes, but if I had to pick one, I would choose the Herbal Detox Mask!
